Google finally released their earth software for free on the internet, at earth.google.com. It sort of resembles google maps; except has a lot more features, letting you overlay various stuff like restaurants, borders, and buildings.

Im a big fan of intense information, and you can really crank it up with google world. If you look at a city with the buildings on its truely amazing they can collect all that information.

I think if any company is going to be our information overloads, it might as well be them. Not to mention the name has a really creepy ‘google taking over the world’ feel to it.
