Well, well, things have changed around here. I’ve switched the site over to WordPress from B2Evolution. It seems to have gone smoothly, but if anyone has any problems let me know. As winter is upon us, everyone around heres thoughts turn to the fun and exciting memories of heating bills. Yup, the people I work with are old.

This winter is supposed to be especially tough on poor families in the Northern US, where our energy prices are expected to increase somewhere in the neighborhood of 25%. Its gotten to the point where a group of Senators wrote to the largest 11 oil companies, asking for heating price relief for the poorest regions and communities. Only one responded with help: the one and only Kenmore sign sponsor, Citgo. Granted their help may just be a political ploy to embarrass the Bush administration from one of its largest foes, Venezuela, but either way its a good thing for good people. So if you have the choice the next time you turn in to buy gas, choose Citgo. You may be helping a neighbor out.

Im not sure where he gets his numbers from, but this guy whipped up a calculator to find your caffine exit strategy. Mountain Dew? Coffee? Whatever your poison of choice is, find out how much it would take to be sitting in the clouds right now. Check it out.

This is a super slick site. This guy has a great taste in funk music and really digs deep for the good tracks. He posts full tracks about a particular artist or group and does a little write up about them. The current Roberta Flack tracks are sick. If you love the funk, you’ll love this site.
